His experience includes strategic and operational airline and airport planning as well as governmental and regulatory aviation planning and development. He has a very deep knowledge of the international aviation, tourism and travel markets.
Furthermore he is most experienced in airport assessments, Master Planning and Feasibility Studies including economic and financial assessment.
Since 1993 he has worked as Project Director, Senior Advisor and consultant for international donor and funding organizations, investment banks and private investors world-wide. He has managed major aviation projects for international funding organizations and is familiar with all procedures and requirements related to project management of such projects.
Furthermore he is appreciated as lecturer and speaker at high level aviation management courses including the AMPAP (Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme) courses sponsered by ICAO and ACI.
He offers the rare combination of more than 30 years of management and consultancy experience with a MBA Aviation degree from 2006. He has work experience from more than 80 countries including several development country projects.
Frantz Buch Knudsen has for the last 10 years been permanently employed by Ramboll and is board member of the Ramboll Foundation.
